smaple and hold circuit. It is not a conventional mixer.
I have done some experiments with this thing and doing it with very short sample pulse also works great on harmonics. This is not a radio receiver where the aim is to get as narrow pass band as possible without affecting the information. This on the other hand is not at all selective to the received frequency. It gives some indication on the quality of the incoming sound but it does not need to be accurate. |
