#150845 - actually, this happened... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
... to me today, when I was caught with my colleague discussing in considerable length, which of the 5 relays in a faulty piece of equipment clicked (reproducibly) (we tried to estimate probabilities for each relay that a short circuit would make some of them click).
When the boss entered he pointed out that it takes only a few seconds to grab the first multimeter laying around and measure across the terminals of each of the 5 relays to find out which one is it. Indeed it took maybe 2 minutes to track down and repair the root cause (a solder bridge). Does this qualify me to drive a locomotive? :-) JW |
