If no power is taken out of the supply the effiency is 0%. I bet the effiency is 95% or so when approximately 600 Watts is taken out of it. The power fets are attached to a so small heatsink that it is almost a joke. It has a temperature sensor that switches the thing off if 100 degrees celcius is reached. I have not succeeded to generate enough heat to see that happen. I had to heat it with my soldering iron to test it.
I am also a fan of brute force techniques. Typecasting is one of my favorites as it usually does not generate any extra code and it makes remembering expression result type rules obsolete. Alzheimer disease coming: - First You forget to pull the zipper up - Then down |
