#149328 - Full-screen mode Responding to: ???'s previous message |

The noob guide is still completely there. Did you try Andy's suggestion of saving to your hard drive? (Right click and "Save As...") If you want I can email it to you, let me know. That made the difference when I tried it. When it opens in the browser, it only displays the first page. When I download and open it, it works. But Adobe tells me with an alert box: "This document is trying to put Acrobat in full screen mode, which takes over your screen. In this mode, it is possible to present documents that look like other applications, including applications that request your personal information. Would you like to allow this document to enter full screen mode automatically?" I'm guessing the reason the PDF doesn't render more than the first page in browsers is related to this. Is there any way to produce a new copy of the PDF that doesn't instruct Adobe to go into full-screen mode? Regards, Craig Steiner 8052.com Webmaster |
