Hi Per
we used pair 1 (1+2) for CAN. Stubs of 3..5m with 125kBit should not be a problem. Termination is also not so critical. We used pins 4+5 for Plus supply 7-8 for minus supply pair 3-6 was unused. Worked fine. The total network was about 100m using Ethernet cables. with 250kbit stubs to about 2m are ok. Werner |
