The software in question looks for the drives that it wants to see via the network. Since there's no IPX/SPX link to the named server, it fails. I've still got the drives in question and the old server ... I just don't want to do the work if I can avoid it.
BTW, DOS 6.22 has "help" for all its commands, so, once one is using DOS, it provides all the help you need without Googling. RE |
