People where asking where you can get synthesisable 8051 cores, Actel have single cycle 8051 cores which are free and can be used in proASIC and igloo devices.They also have an ARM core but that is a bit crap as it isnt a full ARM7 and it only runs at 50 Mhz with debugging turned on.
