If you are going to follow strict X10 standard beware of the fact that X10 events relies on mains line zero crossing synchronisation and exact mains line frequency...i doubt that these systems will run smoothly in indian electricity conditions as mains line frequency varies from 47 hz to 52 hz(as i frequently observes) and main line voltages too varies from 100 to 290 volts ac...this scheme may fail here .
