Actually, the bridge rectifier can handle safely upto 60A it seems. Right now, supply current is 37A (for 3kW). I guess if I can increase the supply current upto 60A, ripples will go down at least a bit. But that was just a thought since I am still wondering how to. How do we increase supply current to 60A (for fixed load of 3kW)?
(For PFC, I am thinking of including a inductor of some mH in series before the cap. If I put in too high inductance, there will be Ldi/dt drop across that too further decreasing the cap. voltage and that is what I am trying to avoid.) |
