So following what has become rather conventional practice it would not be appropriate to use CAPs to name the look up table in the code that Erik showed.

... the labels that Erik copied from the OP.

I felt that copying the OPs labels and adding "PS it is rare to see a variable in capitals." would illustrate better.

I, personally, would never use capitals for a variable.
