If you have a few hours to spare, I can thoroughly recommend Linear Technology's Application Note 43, which contains a huge amount of information about bridge circuits in general and strain gauges in particular. There is also an example of a lock-in amplifier circuit (on page 24). Careful, it's a scanned document, so quite big (almost 5MB). It's well worth the download, though! Best regards, Rob. |
