For example please consider the flow below:

Doubt 1: Bridge rectifier output ---> Filter Capacitor --> LM338 --> delivering 3A.

Here assume LM338 is delivering 3A.
Should this 3A current be taken in to consideration while choosing the filter capacitor values?

Doubt 2: If 1A 'AC' current is said to flow through a capacitor as shown below, then for this case how the capacitor value is chosen with respect to this current?
Will this 1A current be considered while choosing the capacitor value?
