#137827 - PIC timers
hi guys..
i am currently working on a project which uses microchip's PIC 18F4620.
For a module i am using timer0 and timer1.

My problem is when i power on the pic, the timer increaments slowly n after some time(perhaps few seconds), it works as desired.
I set the timer to for 3 seconds. When i swiched on the power supply, for first time it took several seconds to complete n then by soft reset the timer was of exact 3 seconds for each cycle.

Is is really the case that the timer takes some time to warm up?(i guess ?)... or it may be the time taken by crsytal to work as oscillator?
What can b the remedy to avoid it?
