#136385 - To add insult to injury, ... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
They did include the Czech Republic. Actually, they included 156 places, including areas that aren't even countries (Puerto Rico).
At least they didn't discuss beggars. As an aside, I was surprised when Czechoslovakia split into two countries. I guess I had not been studying my Eastern Europe history well enough. My first impression was that the Czechs got most of the industry, and Slovakia wound up with the agriculture. I was reminded of Moldova (which was also left out of the list). Moldova also has a lot of agriculture, and they have seemed to have a lot of fiscal problems. (Industry = tax revenue) I would be interested in hearing your viewpoints sometime. |
