Kids will do what kids will do. They rarely take advice from their parents, especially from fathers.

The people on this forum tend to be a bit above average in abilities and knowledge compared to the typical human being. One might reflect on the real consequences of "regression to the mean". Try not to be disappointed ;-)

One of my colleagues just had his first child (a boy). I gave him a copy of Bill Cosby's On Fatherhood. Told him it was the "owners manual". You might want to take a look at it.
