Hello...!
I was searching in the web about mp3 decodification algorithm, but i dont found it. Somebody doest it in 805xx chips? MP3 decoding is actually quite complex, both from a conceptual standpoint, as well as a computational one. I do not know of any MCS-51 class devices that can run an MP3 decoding application in real time. This way is very hard for buid a mp3 player.. but will be cool... ( i think .. ) Indeed. But as you've suggested below there are dedicated hardware decoder devices available for this purpose. In addition, check out Atmel's family of single chip devices that have an 8051 core and a hardware MP3 decoder integrated into a single package: http://www.atmel.com/dyn/produ...ily_id=636 The latest device in this family, the AT85C51SND3 is almost a complete MP3 player solution on a chip; it even includes a DAC. If someone know where i can find the decoder chips in the Brazil...
Tankz... You might want to locate a local Atmel distributor. Also, note that US-based Digi-Key ships internationally. --Sasha Jevtic |
