assuming (I hate to do so) that MMC stand for uC (microcontroller) not something MegaMega I will recommend that you get exteremly familar with "the bible". If you do not know the basics, you will never get anywhere. Erik MMC refers to MultiMedia Card, an early flash card device that has a lot in common with the now more prevalent SD (Secure Digital) card. The device in question is the AT89C51SND1C, an 8051 core surrounded by a rich feature set, including, among other things, a hardware MP3 decoder and MMC interface. The AT89DVK-04 is a development kit for this device, and includes a reference application complete with a Keil C51 project file, including the necessary code to manipulate the MMC card and a FAT implementation. It would be a good purchase for anyone serious about working with this device. --Sasha Jevtic |
