do not fall into the trap of b = direction a = clock
you WILL get misses at certain reversals. To get correct readings for all reversals you need quadrature detection. You can either buy an Agilent chip that will do it for you (go to their website and search on quadrature) or gather the functionality from the datasheet and make your own. Erik |
