#131946 - Value and relevance of inductor |
Hi!
My schematic is on: http://www.8052.com/users/ris...%20ckt.pdf I an trying to control the charge on the 2200uF capacitor by using the BT151 as a relay. While designing the circuit - I was concerned that since the load is purely capacitive the SCR might not turn on/off as desired due to the phase difference between the voltage and current. I have thus added an inductor (4.6mH) such that the reactance of the inductor and that of the capacitor cancel each other thereby causing the power factor to be zero. Am I on the correct track? Will this work? Thanks Rishiraj |
