a VP stated that one of our products had a name he did not really like, but since a name had to be decided in a hurry, that was the name the product got. I happened to mention that, in hindsight, a very good name would be something else. The reply was "yes, that would be a much better name, but we have a reputation for the quality of this product which I do not want to lose with a a namechange"

Yes, there is no 'proof' in the above since I do not mention the name and Richard, if you ask for it you will NOT get an answer. The point is very clear no mentioning of actual name required!
