Cross-references should be automatically generated!
I suspect that they were automatically generated (in fact, they are clickable links in the pdf file that take you directly to the table in question), but someone added a table and forgot to update the links properly. Another example of the "proofreading by expert" - as above? Or maybe the timing diagrams were generated before the "hardware quirk" the imposes the constraint was spotted. Then the constraint was added to the documentation, but the diagrams were not updated. Or the timing diagrams were made before the actual hardware was made. :) But I agree. The more "simple and obvious" errors I spot in a document, the less I'm inclined to trust all the other information. |
