From a customer in the sense you mean it I once received a $300 bonus, a long time ago. In today's dollars it would easily exceed a kilobuck.
But from the users of my open source software (a different kind of "customer"), I've received several hundred dollars worth of hardware. Including some neat stuff from MIT and a major chip manufacturer in the US. For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, that has more value to me than the cash. Maybe it's because my wife can't complain that I'm "working for free" :-) |
