#127582 - shocking stories |
In another theread Kai posted But your are right, this leakage current can be painful sometimes...
This made me think about shocking stories. So, why not collect shocking stories in a thread let me contribute two 1 In a TV factory where the TVs had the chassis connected to one side of the mains, this guy grabbed a phase connected chassis and got stuck. In his attempts to get free he pulled the TV off the bench, it fell on him and broke his shoulder. 2 In a radio final test department the AM and FM antennas were connected with long wires ending in long cylindrical handles for easy plug-in to the DUT. Yours truly and another practicioner 'managed' (not deliberately) to connect the FM shiled to phase and one of the testers started dancing. We sat the for a while wondering "has that guy gone crazy" and then suddenly realized OOPS and pulled the plug. Erik |
