Yes, a plug is expensive, but, since Richard is to do testing, I guess it is an industrial app.

In such a setting, what is the cost of the Mickey Mouse scheme failing?

I remember a case where a lot of boards passed the test, was installed and failed. The cause for a major rework cost was the tester having a problem.
