I was born by imaculate conception in 1965 and again in 1973,graduated from Bristol university with a 2:1 in electronics engineering in 1984.Worked for a while at GEC Plessey as it was then working on system X telephone exchanges,worked for a few years at landis and gyr working on their payphones.Moved into hardware accelerated cryptographic development as a principle hardware engineer,worked for myself for a while and now am principle hardware at a company involved in broadband satellite comms.Interests include glider flying, drinking and setting fire to public buildings.Also involved in developing equipment for partialy sighted people,products Ive developed for them include a handheld CCD based image magnifier and a talking barcode reader,I am also developing a reconfigureable high speed computing platform based on multiple xilinx Virtex 4 FPGAs on a PCIe card for The University of Central England Photonics lab were it is used to perform very high speed digital signal processing,and 8052 and Atmel AVR based home automation products.Not married although due to be early next year.
