there is no such thing as 'embedded'
there is 'small embedded' and 'large embedded' distinctions just as vague, nevertheless one proficient in one may be totally useless in the other. 'Large embedded' seems to be 'the bridge' between the micro controller and the micro processor. as micro controller and micro processor (as defined) require totally different programming styles (one is efficiency, the other ease) so does small and large embedded.
