Dear friends,
I doing a short term course in VLSI. At present i was taught with the digital design techniques and have started designing some simple designs and simulating it using Verilog(Modelsim).

My course would conclude by december by which iam suppose to do a project (download it into an FPGA and test it)

I am on the look out for a project in Communication systems (TCP/IP, Ethernet,..)

Iam getting titles from the web but, not sure of the time duration and complexity involved in it and how well it would be useful for me in my career.

So it would be helpful if i could get some suggestions from you people in taking a good project which help me get better understanding of the work in that field.

-guide me with some project titles or any topics to look into.
