#123266 - Heavier moderation |
Just to let everyone know, I will be attempting to moderate the main forum more heavily. I'm extremely busy so I may not be able to do so, but I want the main forum to be very on-topic. Messages that are not useful to a thread, or are redundant, will be deleted.
If someone asks a question, feel free to answer it. If you answer it, make the answer meaningful. If you provide a meaningful answer, feel free to also mention reading the tutorials or datasheets, etc. but a message that only tells a member to read the tutorials is redundant and will be deleted unless it provides a direct link and indicates what part of the page at that link is of interest to the person asking the question. If a message is useful but also contains comments that may be useless or a source of conflict, I may still delete it. Please try to avoid putting me in this position by not mixing useless content in your otherwise useful posts. Messages that are deleted will usually result in the poster being notified that the message was deleted because it was "off-topic." Any complaints about messages being deleted should be sent to me via email. Chit-chat and off-topic conversation is welcome in the "chat board" forum, as usual.
