and according to the article you can design your system using commercial components rather than military/radiation hardened and surprisingly they seem to work well despite the radiation and vacuume and problems with cooling/heating the thing, and its possible apparently to have your satelite launched alongside a commercial one almost as a free add-on,only its not free because it still costs 50,000 euros to have it tested and fitted into the spare room on a commercial launch,which is what these people are doing http://www.delfic3.nl/ I think it would be a good thing and I think between us we have more than enough experts to put just about anything we wanted into it. |
