#122357 - Name brand turns to cr*p though Responding to: ???'s previous message |
HP made great stuff. I'm hoping Agilent still does, but HP is "just another PC manufacturer" now.
Motorola made great stuff. Again I'm hoping that Freescale still does, but like Agilent/HP, I've yet to buy anything from them since the name change. Motorola becomes "another cell phone manufacturer". What became of their two-way radio biz? Is that still Motorola? So now Philips will become "yet another CE manufacturer". All of these "yet anothers" soon battle for small margins on huge quantities of poorly made Chinese crap. Now I'm not blaming the Chinese for this. It's the fools buying bottom dollar junk at WalMart, Target, Best Buy, etc. that are driving it. What was metal is now plastic. Not too long ago I broke the (plastic) door handle off my car! Lets just say that I won't be buying Ford again any time soon... |
