But...having tried the new version of sdcc for a bit I think that its as good as and certainly easier to use than keil, now i know this is heresy But I think it would be interesting to have a little challenge to see what produces the better code in terms of speed of execution or code size for some standard routine such as fourier transform,maybe we could compare it with someones best efforts for hand coded as well.I think a 128 point fft in a bog standard 8052. |
