#122064 - I have done it for "is it there" Responding to: ???'s previous message |
How can you even suggest using those as supplies for an element having any gain?
I have done "is it there" for a 1V negative pulse converted to input to a '51 I realize I got on thin ice with this and will thus emphasize if you have an OP amp frugal enough to allow filtering (LC and/or RC) in a non critical application such as 'is it there or is it not" you may be able to use a MAX232 as a bipolar power supply. I realize that I screwed up posting this because as Jan quoted me "don't talk about the cheats in public fora, as those who don't know exactly what they are doing might take it granted". So, if you KNOW, that this wqill work use it, if you are not quite sure, do not. Erik |
