You need to take a little care if you, like me, have little knowledge of interfacing to a network. The development kit does not have a working example that you can plug in and then dissect to understand what is going on. There is an article by Jeff Bachiochi on using the Xport in the January 2004 edition of Circuit Cellar. He refers to a working example of a thermostat that was delivered on his version of the development kit (2 years ago), but Lantronix appears to have no knowledge of this example. Jeff did a bit of a follow up in the Feb 2004 edition as well.
