#120001 - water flow sensor Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The water flow sensor for my water heater failed last year, and I got the guy who installed the boiler in to give me a quote for a new one and he wanted £77.50, all it is is a little rotating vane which sits inside the water pipe and turns a split ring commutator. So I told him I would think about it, took it out cleared the gunge out,put it back in and its as good as new.Mind you if you want high prices for parts my brother used to work for Saab cars and they charge the most fantastic prices like £250 for a rear light set. |
