The Mac OS X is based on NetBSD which is a version of Unix based on the one developed at Berkeley. This means you can install wine which will let you run many windows programs unser linux. Alternatively you can run vmware which will let you run windows on a virtual machine.
One thing to watch though is programs that access serial ports, for programming chips for example. AFAIK the MAc has no serial port. Ian |
