How to make ISP programmer
if you use an uC with 'sensible' ISP you 'make' nothing. For Philips chips you download FlashMagic, for Atmel chips you download FLIP. Then you connect the serial port of your PC to the serial port of your uC an go. For some not so 'sensible' ISPs (e.g. some Atmels and the very small LPC devices) you need an 'active cable' the schematic of which is available at the manufacturers website. Erik |
