no sign of I2C is mentioned in the datasheet...
SMB, to the best of my belief, was first created by some that did not want to have to ask Philips if they could use IIC. The SMB IS IIC except you may invoke a timeout and the max clock speed is not defined in the standard, but 'device dependent". Erik |
