They wanted you to think about the effects of things like stray capacitances on pratical circuits, and also if you actualy build a circuit which is as apparently simple as that then at high frequencies you get things like the pcb traces acting as transmision lines when the length of the trace is longer than the wavelength of the signal in the transmission medium and the speed of the signal propagation is usualy less than C the speed of light in a vacuume.
