#117374 - loose power socket? |
I have this problem since I moved my computer to this new place. THe computer is connected (tightly) to a simple power socket. Now, whenever (meaning about 50% of the time) I turn the computer ON, after few seconds, the computer goes off and I always find that the power plug to the socket has got slightly loose. Since I did not find any electro-mechanical part inside this power socket, I am really amazed how the plug is pushed forward by the switching on the computer. at the beginning, I thought it was because of loose connection but this began to happen regularly and that I would check before switching on whether the connection is loose or not. and even after making sure of secure connection, I would find about 50% of the time the above strage behaviour.what could have happened? |
