#116673 - Not every set of requirements leads to Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Not every set of requirements leads to 8052. Yes, there are probably more 8052 versions than any other core. It may seem unlikely to find an application where something else fits better, but it could happen. Choices are often made on the basis of the tools one already has, just as they're often made based on what's in the parts bin. That may be adequate, but it's not always optimal. Sometimes it's best to use a PIC or a 68HC-whatever. Sometimes it's best to use an ARM.
It's really important that requirements be developed before the solution is designed. RE |
