Responding to: ???'s previous message
This is probably just an effort to make everyone quit using useful but "obsolete" tools.
I stuck with '98 for 5 years, but by then everybody had caught up, I still have a 98 machine sitting under my desk, but it has not been powered for abt a year except for "file fetch". Much of what is available today will not run on '98, I, in the last days before going to dual ('98 and XP pro) use had to accept not using a package or two because they were not '98 compatible.

We can whine all we want, but the train will leave the station whether you are on board or not,

It is but human to resist change, but change is the name of the game. Just see all the posts "I do not want to go to 3V3". I resisted for a while, but when I did it I found out it was no big deal.

Re 'going dual' I have a switch by Linksys that, when i press a key combination (CTRL SysReq?) switches monoitor and keyboard between the two PCs.
