#113605 - What are you saying? that the watchdog s Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Ive just been to look at an application which has been running continiusly for the past 4 months in a very challenging enviroment, high temperatures, lots of pumps, motors, high voltage supplies, some rf stuff floating about and interestingly the watchdog hasnt reset once which quite surprised me, and I know that Sod's law says that the moment you disable the watchdog is when the thing will go off into the long grass and I am not going to disable it because it does kind of need to be fail safe but still an interesting thing.Kind of.
What are you saying? that the watchdog should be there because it WILL go off??? I have no product where a watchdog reset is not considered an error to be corrected by finding the reason and eliminating it. Erik |
