#113314 - %$#@ spam Responding to: ???'s previous message |
My company mail goes through 2 antispam filters, yet Thunderbird filters out several tens more daily, and a couple of them still gets through this triple-sieve.
I consider e-mail spamming perhaps the worst thing that happened to internet since I started to use it 14 years ago (although I also like to remember times when sending a >100kB mail without asking first was considered a basic faux-pas (OK, the whole Slovakia connectivity was a 64kB/s line, then...) However, it is very like a loss of freedom. I suggested some time ago to try to fight them back using their very methods - to spam the spammers with fake orders (after all they only want to promote their goods). I know, eye for eye is not too modern today, but I am really *****.... Jan Waclawek |
