But to be honest I can't complain because I get all these tools for free, although it is great for hobby jobs, but professionals need real good tools to work with and not riff raff.
There it is! when you use a chip which is so proprietary that no "external" tools are available, which forces you to use the free tools you "can't complain". When I have a problem with my CEIBO emulators (haven't had any for abt 18 months) I get a fix in a day or two. When I have a problem with the free SILabs "emulator" I get a nice e-mail "your problem will be addressed" which should be followed by "when we feel we have the time to do so" if a tool makes you waste time is it FREE?
