#112432 - not always Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When I got drafted and showed up for the military we all got bath shoes (flip-flops) the same size. I (using size US14/euro47) could not get my feet into the "standard issue".
Well, as part of the "indoctrination" the captain gave a speech and said that the word "uniform" came from "uniformity" that all soldiers should be alike. Yours truly opened his big mouth and said something about sizes of feet and a few days later we all got get flip-flops our individual size. Jan, i do not know what size you are, but there are many people i would rather not share dress and footwear sizes with standardization or not. Erik |
