#112081 - global search... cumbersome. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Erik Malund said:
CodeWright global search gives you a window with each and every occurance of your search crireria shown. Clicking on an occurance in that window brings up the source with the cursor right there. Almost all "programmer" editor has this, but it is cumbersome, if you need to see all the related comments (unless you keep all comments in one line and the editor gives a line preview in the "search results" window). Something smarter I had in mind... The idea is to keep the "crossing thread" (represented by flag/variable) in one file, in one place, somehow. Jan Waclawek |
