Grammar is NOT TAUGHT in our (English) schools, until you have to get to grips with a second language - and we don't usually do that until we are 11. It stops being compulsory at 14. And folks wonder why we can't write properly. Of course, grammar is still a very important part of most of other countries systems, and that's why our Indian sub-continent and other members post wonderful English, unless they use SMS. Steve |
