#111105 - Mean particle size
Ok Ive got an application with a 22 mm outside diameter copper pipe carrying water at a pressure of 7-10 bar and a temperature of 75-87 degrees centigrade, the water contains non water soluble particles ranging in size from 0.01 mm to 0.1mm in diameter,I need a non-intrusive method of determining the mean particle size, I have thought about using sound or passing light beams though the water with a transparent section of pipe but some suggestions would be good. Also a bonus ball would be a method of giving a distribution of particle sizes in the water.
So get your thinking caps on.
