We seem to have run out of people trying to drive toasters with 8052 port pins they were much more entertaining, what worries me is that somewhere someone is waiting for his design to be finished while these two slug it out.
In the mean time ive been spured into action by thinking about fixed point functions in VHDL,as you do and ive written a package which is kind of sort of like a C library for vhdl which allows you to treat integers as fixed point numbers in VHDL and seems to actualy produce working hardware,might not mean much to you but I am quite pleased with it ill even stick it in the hardware library. |
