Reported some time ago that the money people wanted Borland to dump the compiler biz and focus on something else (whatever their current flagship product is -- I have no idea, but it's not compiler related). There was speculation the compiler biz would be spun off to another company. Here we go again, Borland shooting itself in the foot. Like Motorola and Philips dumping the company name from semiconductors (and HP similarly) to focus on zero-margin consumer goods.
